LED Light for PrintrBot
thingiverse
Create an easy-to-use LED Holder that mounts two 5mm LEDs above your PrintrBot LC print bed for better visibility. First, gather necessary tools like a 3D printer, soldering iron, heat gun, wire strippers, screwdriver, and wire cutters. The parts list includes two high-brightness white LEDs, a Deans Micro Connector, a 220 ohm resistor, a power connector (e.g., Molex Power Cable), solder, and shrink tube. Install the holder between hex nuts using existing #6-32 screws. Use a micro Deans connector at the print head for easy disconnection. The LED Holder assumes connection to +12V and specific RadioShack LED specs; adjust resistor value if needed. Power the LEDs with 12V from available PC power supply connectors using a PC power connector.
