LED Light for Anet A6 V2

LED Light for Anet A6 V2

This is a revised version of the LED light for Anet A6 that I designed several weeks ago. The previous design worked flawlessly, but I had two significant issues with it. First and foremost, it was excessively bulky; despite my efforts to minimize its size, the 12V battery occupied most of the space and wasted valuable room. Moreover, the Anet A6 printer features X-axis rods positioned side by side, allowing users to view their prints through the space beneath the extruder body. Since I placed the battery in this area, it completely obstructed my view. I also wanted to redesign the attachment mechanism because the hot glue used in the previous design was sufficient to hold the light in place, but I sought a more durable solution and an easier way to remove it without gluing it again when needed. The new design addresses these problems by clipping onto the aluminum extruder base, as evident from the photos attached above. In my quest for inspiration, I discovered a similar design on Things that served as a starting point (kudos to dextersxxxlab). I built upon this concept and made it my own by shrinking the space required for the LED panel to just 2cm x 4cm. Additionally, I added a curved section below the LED panel, which I felt completed its appearance. The end result is a smaller holder for my LED panel that is also easily removable. This design works seamlessly with a budget-friendly LED panel like the one found here: https://www.banggood.com/5050-24SMD-Car-White-LED-Interior-Dome-Door-Reading-Panel-Light-p-994543.html?rmmds=search, but feel free to modify my STL file to accommodate any other LED panel you prefer.
