LED Light Mounting for Heatbed A 4-LED setup is mounted above my Prusa i3 A8 heatbed using existing screw holes. It's essential that screws are perfectly level with the surface to avoid obstructing the extruder. To ensure a secure fit, I shortened two 30mm screws to meet the necessary length. Two white LEDs are used on each side, accompanied by a 470 Ohm resistor (12V). This setup provides ample illumination for casual print monitoring without requiring additional light sources. However, it's worth noting that this lighting cannot reach areas directly below the print head. Removing internal support proved challenging; I had to employ a drill to successfully remove it. When printing the right side, a crucial error in the STL was discovered mid-printing process but can be avoided by mirroring the left light configuration instead.
