**Support my work at: https://www.paypal.me/SalvoOgnibene. A dollar or 50 cents is welcome too!** This is a regulated box for the Ender 3 to fit a DC-DC converter LM2596. The project involves modifying an LM2596 board to get 24 volts directly from the power supply and obtain a lower, regulated DC voltage from 8V to 12V. Simply remove the 10kohm multiturn trimmer and replace it with a 2.2kohm simple trimmer and a 1kohm potentiometer in series. You'll have about 4 volts of DC range, regulated by the trimmer. Use a voltmeter to set both trimmers and potentiometers. Put the potentiometer at maximum resistance, then turn the trimmer until you get a 12V DC output. That's it! Now try turning the potentiometer - you'll have a DC range from 8V to 12V. Easy peasy! Install an on-off switch between the 24V and the "+" input of the DC converter. Print the box and top cover at 0.2 resolution without supports in PETG or ABS. Don't print it in PLA because the DC converter will reach high temperatures. The box will stay secure thanks to two T-slots and two M4 bolts (included). 24V (in) and 12V (out) cables are hidden inside V-slots - check out the pictures! Put a washer between the potentiometer and the box to allow the cover edge. **Don't forget to post your creation!** Support me with a tip at: https://www.paypal.me/SalvoOgnibene. Thanks!
