Adapter shapes to hold a LituFoto L28 LED light into the bottom of a Hammond 1550F die-cast aluminium box. To enable an even spread of light, the light box design needs four inward-facing mirrors to be mounted perpendicular to the light. However the sides of the Hammond box are tapered out at about 1.3 degrees. These pieces correct that taper, and there are two handed pairs to print. They fit snugly around the L28 in the bottom of the box. The box needs a cutout to access the controls of the L28, and I also removed the top of the middle screw mount bosses using a Dremel (see photo). The light itself needs a 2mm thick plastic spacer on the bottom, with a cutout around the battery release button (see photo). Obviously that means the L28 has to be used with an external power supply. The pieces of mirror are 60mm high. On top of the adapters there is a 3mm thick piece of Perspex Spectrum white translucent plastic, acting as a diffuser. There's also a design for a couple of small knobs. They're the right size to fit on M3.5 screws (same as for a standard UK light switch or wall socket), which are the right size for the corners of the Hammond box. I use them with little L-brackets (made from the bit I cut out to access the light controls) to hold negative masks down onto the surface of the light box.
