After watching a YouTube video of an LED helicopter, I decided to create my own Maple seed-inspired design. My latest version, LED Leaf V4, features thinner blades and a glued-on wing. This revision overcomes the issues of previous designs: V1 had weight distribution problems, V2's spin was impeded by wing thickness, V3's plastic wings didn't stay together, and V3.5 occasionally launched too low due to unsupported paper wings. Print LED_Leaf_V4.STL at 0.25mm or 0.125mm layer height, assemble with the provided PDF wing template and listed materials, and launch at night for optimal effect.
