LED lamp repair - fixation ring
thingiverse
Someone recklessly discarded an LED lamp with a zooming lens. The lamp was missing its power cord, making it impossible to secure in a stable position. After taking the lamp apart, I discovered the source of the problem - the fixing ring made of plastic was broken (no surprise!). With just a few minutes of modeling and printing, I created a replacement part, and then used the old power cord to bring everything back together. Now the lamp is working perfectly, and after giving it a good cleaning, it looks brand new. It's a great feeling! PS: I had planned to buy a new lamp for over $50 one day, but now that this one works again, I can put those plans on hold.
