I've got a simple yet useful project to share! I've been using a basic desk lamp with 52 LEDs, but it's just too bright! To save my son's eyes and soften the light, I created a set of dome diffusers using White PLA. This is also super handy for photography applications! Here are the specs: OD - 67.75 ID - 63.75 Don't forget to scale these to fit your specific needs! You've got three styles to choose from: Short (1), Hemisphere (2), and Egg (3). Print Settings: Printer: Da Vinci 1.0 PRO (+E3D V6) Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.20mm to 0.30mm Infill: 10%-15% Notes: Scale to fit your desired size, keep infill low for more light transmission, and use a Brim - 5mm works great! Also, try avoiding a heated bed as it can trap heat inside the dome and cause issues during printing.
