The LED Holliday Litho-Lantern is a modern twist on my own popular LED Skull Lantern found here:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:482307. This innovative version gives users full control over their side panels, allowing them to create unique patterns or lithophanes that perfectly fit their style. By printing with natural white PLA, lithophanes can be created with incredible detail and depth, showcasing the varying thickness of the transparent material. The result is an amazing 3D appearance when illuminated from behind. The LED Holliday Litho-Lantern features oval side openings as suggested by inle_rah, providing a sleek and modern look. Users also have the option to add a bottom panel, which can be customized with different light sources like neopixel rings, as cleverly mentioned by charleybot. I want to note that the Santa image used is believed to be in the public domain. Here's a quick guide on how to use this product: If you decide to make lithophanes for your side panels, I've included detailed instructions in the PDF document found within the files section. For those who prefer cutout style side panels, please print them with the following dimensions: 53mm wide x 65mm tall x 2mm thick. Use translucent white PLA and a 100% infill setting to get the best results. Support structures are necessary for printing the bottom, lid, and handle. If you decide to use the bottom panel, I recommend printing it from a white material that will reflect light back into the lantern.
