I wanted to add LEDs to my mini quads' arms, but space was an issue. The best solution seemed to be creating a custom LED holder that allows me to mount standard 50mm LED strip segments. This holder is designed around the motor and frame, with its base sandwiched between them for secure mounting. At just 1mm thick, it adds minimal height. I prioritized light weight over ultra durability, opting to print a few and replace them if needed after crashes. Every gram counts in mini quad design. If there's demand for a more rugged version, I can easily modify the dimensions and publish the updated design. Just let me know through the comments section. The holder was made and tested using DYS1806 motors, but it should work with similar 1806 motors as well, given their close resemblance to the originals.
