Led Hexagonal Panels
thingiverse
I print these with no infill no support or bed adhesion. They take about 2.5 hours for the body and 1.5 hours for the lids. There are no clips or anything special with them. The lids lock in place. there is a small lip for them to sit on when locked in. I have had to sand a few corner on the lids to get them to lock in right but that is just from my printer making them to rounded. To hold them together I used a few drops of super glue and some hot glue. the led are just RGBIC strips. These were ran after the glue set. I snaked them in from a low point to have the cord come out there and ran them all along the inside before going back and sticking them in permanently. Hot glue was used in some places to help keep them in place also To mount them I used two screws and just set them on it. since there is no back to these your free to put screws or nails where you want them as long as it holds it. I did leave the screws stick out far enough that the strip helps stop it from sliding off if it gets bumped Filament I used. 3D Solutech Real Black - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ME7CV7C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 3D Solutech Real White - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ME7E5X0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Led strip I used - Govee RGBIC LED Strip Lights - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N1C4Z65/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
