LED Heart
thingiverse
A friend of mine recently created a remarkable Iron Man corset, and now she's working on another one with a glowing heart feature. The heart comes equipped with attachment points for easy installation. To create this stunning effect, I printed it with the front facing up to conceal support material, which made removing the support a bit challenging due to its recessed design. For the glowing heart, I utilized 4-7 MCD LEDs in red and white, placing 13 of them in groups of three, with each group connected by a 68-ohm resistor. The final group featured two LEDs facing the wearer for an under glow effect. To ensure safety and secure connections, I applied hot glue as both insulation and wire holder. Powering this spectacular accessory is a long-lasting 9V battery that prevents overheating.
