LED headlight caps for Holden / Vauxhall Monaro / Pontiac GTO

Human: I designed rear headlight caps that accommodate LED bulbs for the VY/V2/VZ Holden/Vauxhall Monaro, as well as potentially the Pontiac GTO and earlier Monaros (and Commodores). The initial prototype was developed on my UK-based VY/V2 Monaro CV8. This design is optimized to print with nearly no support required. My installed headlight caps have been in use since April 2015 without any issues. I used Philips Lumileds LUXEON LEDs for the main beams, which provide a nice performance - although they do fit quite tightly, as evident from the attached photos. The photos taken inside the engine bay show an earlier version of the headlight cap design. One photo shows my HID dipped beams, which necessitated drilling into the original caps. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: Coarse (approximately 0.3mm) Infill: 100% Notes: Considering this part will reside in an engine bay, I recommend printing it with 100% infill and using ABS material - going for anything less would be a false economy.
