Led Head Light
thingiverse
I urgently required a work light to complete my overnight task, and the interior of a massive sign with no lighting would pose a challenge. As I hadn't yet purchased one, I decided to create it myself. Fortunately, I possessed all the necessary components, so I designed and assembled the light in 4 1/2 hours. Although the design wasn't perfect and the tabs for the elastic band had broken off, the makeshift solution worked flawlessly. To prevent future issues, I reinforced the tabs in the .stl file to ensure they wouldn't snap off. The LED used is a HanleyLED P-2027, while the switch was salvaged from an old toy. A standard 9V battery connector completes the setup. Post-printing, I found myself situated inside a gigantic sign located in Chicago's northern suburbs.
