These LED gummy candies look so lifelike that they'll initially fool your friends before delighting them with their edible and delicious nature. Our tutorial covers food-safe silicone mold creation and provides a homemade gummy candy recipe: http://learn.adafruit.com/led-gummy-candies/. The legs are 3D printed in PLA (corn-based plastic), functioning like toothpicks for easy insertion during cooling. Note that these low-temperature candies should not be used with high-temp hard candies and, as with all Adafruit projects, proceed at your own risk! Photography by johngineer.
