LED G4 Light Fixture
thingiverse
I designed these holders and fixtures specifically for G4 12VDC LED automobile dome lights: https://amzn.to/2V2rzLL. To get the best results, print them using PETG. I used Hatchbox Orange to match my Prusa i3 Mk2S perfectly: https://amzn.to/34w2CN1. Overture Black works well for other applications, and you can find it in single roll or triple roll versions at https://amzn.to/2JZLVjG and https://amzn.to/3b8o3q4 respectively. The retainer ring snaps firmly into place to hold the LED securely inside. Before snapping the ring in, solder the wire leads for a secure connection. The ring is removable, making assembly much easier. You can use my photos as a reference for wiring; they should be wired in parallel and powered by a 12VDC output source. Keep in mind that the more lights you string together, the higher the amperage power supply will need to be or the light output will decrease. I use these holders to illuminate my printers and work area, but they also work great for under cabinet lighting, inside cabinets, behind entertainment centers, or anywhere you need bright economical lighting options.
