LED - Dialight 558-6403-027F

This design is intended for digital use only, serving as a model for creating physical prototypes that will feature this type of LED. It's essentially a mock-up tool used in conjunction with 3D modeling software. The design isn't yet complete; I had envisioned showing the two wires twisting together but was unable to figure out how to achieve it within Blender. Fortunately, I stumbled upon a tutorial several months ago and successfully mastered it, but working with this program can be frustratingly difficult even after repeated use. I plan to integrate this LED into my Z-X project to provide focused lighting right at the point where the nozzle is printing. You may wonder why I've chosen this particular LED. Its key features make it a compelling option: it's the thinnest panel-mount LED available, with a mounting hole size of 0.16" (4mm). Moreover, the white LED within this series boasts the highest luminosity of all its counterparts. Initially, I had considered using three LEDs – red, green, and blue – each with varying levels of brightness ranging from 50 to 500 millicandelas. However, this white LED stands out with a remarkable 3000 mcd rating, making it suitable not only as an indicator but also as a functional lighting source despite its intended purpose as a mere indicator.
