This is a remake of Desktop_Makes tealight design on thingiverse adapted to make a compact desktop sign featuring an embedded logo. After receiving the May 2017 3D Geek Box, I wanted to create something using the included filament, batteries, and LEDs. I decided to build a small desk light with my logo displayed prominently on its "light shade." This project was inspired by the acrylic LED signs many people have made by etching a design into a piece of acrylic and then placing it into an LED base to illuminate it. However, I didn't want to buy a piece of acrylic, so I came up with this alternative solution. Not a bad substitute, in my opinion. Notes: Print "light shade.stl" in vase or spiral mode. I printed "light shade.stl" using MakerGeeks HD Clear Raptor Series PLA and also their Translucent Orange Crystal Series PLA. The tealight was built with MakerGeeks Tiger Stripe Orange Maker Series PLA. You can watch a video of how I made it here: https://youtu.be/E8zmMDLC9IM
