LED Cube jig and stand

thingiverse

This 3D light square is a jig and stand for LED kits available from Aliexpress. The jig aligns the LED faces, ensuring a perfect square cube after assembly. The stand provides support for the cube, holding it securely in place. Printer Settings: Brand - Printrbot, Printer - Simple Black, No rafts or supports were used. Resolution was set to 0.2mm, with an infill of 15%. Printing Notes: ABS is recommended with acetone welding, but PLA and SuperGlue work well too. Assembly involves printing in ABS and welding parts together or using PLA with SuperGlue, like I did on this project. A power input socket was not mounted on the board due to its layout; instead, it was glued to a rear stand leg and connected via leads to the PCB. In hindsight, stiff conductive wire should have been pushed directly through holes into the anode receptacles on the PCB without the receptacles. It's also wise to glue the switch cover in place before mounting the board for added convenience.
