LED's in Ender Slots? One Lightsaber Printer coming right up! I'll show you how to make your printer shine without messing with your printer's electronics. First i tested the 5V White LED's with Red rubber like covers. Then i designed a cover and printed it in Natural PLA. So both versions you see in the pictures are done with the same white led strip. What do you need? - 1 Meter 5V Led Strip(s) with integrated USB cable and power on/off Switch. Cut the strip to the needed size on the Strip marks. Color of your choice or RGB! - A Power Strip - 5V USB Phone charger preferably with multiple USB ports (1 port per LED Strip) - 3D printed or bought 2020 Cover in a color that passed light. Transparent Flex Filament would be best, PLA will work great to but don't cut it. Scale the X axis of the cover to the needed size in your slicer. You choose how to define the outcome color by using a transparant 2020 Cover with colored leds or you use white leds and use a colored cover. How? One side of the Led Strip has 3M glue on it, peel it off while applying the strip gently using a non-sharp tool. Connect the USB of the led strip to a 5V power supply, like a phone charger and you are ready to roll.
