LED Candle
thingiverse
This is an LED-Candle (used for decoration, e.g. Xmax decoration). By turning the clap you can switch the led on or off. You need to assemble nothing! Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 10% Notes: Use a brim to stabilize the small flame. Post-Printing assembling of parts 1.) Cut away the brim from the flame and use a file to remove some burr. 2.) Use a small 47 Ohm resistor, bend it like shown on the picture an put it in the notch of the clap, fix it with some glue. The ends of the wires should stick a little bit out of the hole. 3) Put the small LED in the holes of the body, that is tricky. The easiest way is that you cross the wires from the LED and "screw" it in the small holes (Shown on the picture). Remember, where is the plus pin! Twist the flame in the hole, it should retain there without glue. 4) Use a piece of silver foil to make better contact with the battery inside the body and put the AAA batteries in the right way inside. 5) Close the clap carefully, you may hear a click. Ready Filament I printed it with PLA in different colors. For the flame use a transparent or light color. I printed the flame with Glowfill - at night you see the flame glowing.
