LED can light bracket

LED can light bracket

thingiverse

I purchased a 3-inch can light from Home Depot available on Amazon too to use in my basement 3D printing lab as an always-on nightlight. I have open joists in the ceiling, so I couldn't simply cut a hole in sheetrock and mount it. Therefore, this bracket was printed in some translucent filament I happened to have in my MK3. The notch between the screw holes is for one of the "wings" of the LED light. Otherwise, the cable will stick out perpendicular to the wall, instead of parallel to it. It's called a 3-inch can light but the mount is 3 and three-eighths inches or about ninety-eight millimeters.
