Recently, I tied the knot and had a geek responsibility of lighting 75 paper lanterns at our reception tent. Typically available solutions claim an 12-hour lifespan, which is insufficient. To overcome this issue, I devised a power solution using 2 AA batteries to light up 3 LEDs. Despite my doubts about it being excessive, these lanterns have been running for almost four weeks now. Just in case someone tries to duplicate this, here is the information. However, I initially thought it would never be replicated, but was proven wrong.
