LED Base
thingiverse
I'm making a Simple LED base. To turn on the light, just flip the orange ring and watch as the "light slots" open and close, creating mesmerizing light effects that will leave you wondering what's real and what's not. This design also helps the LEDs breathe by allowing air to circulate underneath when a lampshade is placed on top. I glued the LEDs onto an aluminum ring I had lying around - at first, I wanted to create three round aluminum plates, each 20 mm thick, but I decided to take the easy way out. I printed this design in ABS silver and orange with a resolution of 0.2mm.
