I required illumination for my printer because I operate both my printer and a camera using Octopi (https://octoprint.org/). Because I manage printing remotely, I need to view the video with sufficient light from the camera even when it's nighttime. I didn't want a large electric bulb turned on all the time during printing, so I found a simple solution. I discovered a LED bar at Ikea (https://www.ikea.com/fr/fr/p/ledberg-baguette-lumineuse-led-blanc-30400935/) and designed a basic holder to accommodate it. I simply laid down the holders on the top rail, slid in the bar, and concealed/tied up the cables using this accessory (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3237941). That was it!
