Purpose and Suitability This is a Rack and Rail system designed to hold an LED bar for a Voron v2.4 350 3D Printer, although it will happily work with other sizes of Voron v2.4 but you will need to amend the length of the Rail (Light_Bar_Holder.stl) accordingly. It should also work for other v2 Voron's. Features - 3 point positionng system; striaght down, 45 degrees and half way between. - Easy of access; just Fitting and Use *WARNING* This design is all about the FITTINGS and not the ELECTRONICS. You will need to have knowledge of how LED lights strips work and how to connect them up safely. Don't be put off by that, let's face it if you've build your Voron and got it running then you should have the knowledge you need BUT this is my disclaimer. I've fitted 3 LED bars in the top of the Voron 3D Printer, you could fit 4 but I didn't want a bar facing me as I looked at the printer front on. Each side gets 3 clips, left, right and centre. The LED_Frame_Clips.stl fits in first with an M3 roll-in t-spting nut and an M3 6mm SHCS holding it in place. It goes on the inside of the frame bar, and ake sure you get ip the right way up (it's quite obvious), The LED_Light_Bar_Clip.stl just slides in from the top You need 2 Light_Bar_Holder.stl prints per side. The middle clip acts as a joint to hold them together in the centre. It is easy to put the bar in on the back rail and snap it up into place. You can use this method to change the setting but snapping it up to the other 2 holding positions. Have a play with this before fitting. I won't lie, actually putting the electrics in is a bit fiddly. You have to connect up the electrics from bar to bar but if you keep the wires short then they sit nicely out of the way of the Z Pullies. I put the wires at the nack inside the frame and used black electrical tape to secure inside so it was nice and flat. Make sure you know where this goes on the SKR board, and which board. You will need to alter your printer.cfg file. This is the same whenever you fit the LED's irrespective of the fittings you use. Printed Parts List Light_Bar_Holder.stl x 6 LED_Frame_Clip.stl x 9 LED_Light_Bar_Clip.stl x 9 Other Parts M3 x 6mm SHCS x 9 M3 Roll-in T Spring Nuts x 9 (I've had some trouble with the T-nut style but the roll in ones seem ok) LED Light strip, 10mm in width, Indoor, (24v is best for Voron) LED Light Clips (to connect the strips) Wire of an appropriate guage.
