LED Bar for C270 Camera Mount System
thingiverse
I'm looking for a way to add an adjustable LED bar to the incredible Camera Mount System created by FedorSosnin (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3147899). This system consists of three parts: a modified C270 camera mount, a brand new design for the curved light bar, and a light bar diffuser/cover. You'll also need an extra nut and ring spacer from the original camera mount system to complete it. The LED light bar was designed in Tinkercad and is meant to hold two strips of six 2835 LEDs each. There are three wire holders underneath for easy access, and a hole in the center to feed the wires to the LED strips. I connected the LED strips in parallel by joining them (+ to +, - to -) with short bare wire segments first. Then, I soldered the power wires to these segments from behind. Now I can aim the LEDs lower for shorter prints or higher for bigger ones. There's also a deep inset for the LED strips to keep the light directed forward. The diffuser/cover has not been printed yet, but it can be made in clear, natural, white, or even transparent colored filament. UPDATE 5/19/2019: It was pointed out that the Camera Mount wasn't solid. I've fixed this issue in version 3.
