An insert to encase a DIP type LED within a balloon and enable effortless filling and tying off. It features a recess in the bottom for accommodating a 2X10MM magnet. This design seamlessly integrates with our throwie kit, available at LilyLEDs (www.lilyleds.com/Products/113/LED-Throwies). The insert's grooves are designed for secure tie-off or elastic attachment. To ensure a tight seal, a plug should be placed inside the bottom or thin tape applied over the magnet before inserting it. Additionally, this insert can serve as a thrust device for propelling balloon-powered vehicles. I printed one using a Makerbot and found that scaling up by 3-4% is necessary to achieve proper fitment. Horizontal printing yielded better results.
