LED arc for Anet A8
thingiverse
I designed this light arch specifically for my Anet A8 because I couldn't find a model that I liked on Thingiverse or other sites, and it had to fit with the printer without taking up too much space. This arch, once mounted, has an internal cavity that runs along its entire length, allowing the LED strip's power cables to pass through and be hidden as much as possible. The cables also contribute to stiffening the structure by keeping it tight from the inside. Before creating the G-code, the three parts need to be rotated and placed on a base. A standard 10mm wide LED strip is fine for this project, preferably one that runs at 12V so you can connect it to your Anet A8's power supply. After cutting the strip to size, you'll need to glue it to the base against the small tooth.
