I've finally found a better mounting solution for my LED strip on my Printrbot metal plus. I'm using about 14 inches of white, 8 mm wide, 12 volt LED strip that's tucked neatly under the top of the printer frame. To secure it in place, I've employed two 6-inch long holders, leaving a one inch gap in the middle, but so far, it works flawlessly. The magnets are from KJ Magnetics (https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=R422CS-S), which I inserted and then quickly melted using a soldering iron to secure them in place - glue would likely achieve the same result. Initially, I had planned to use machine screws, but unfortunately, I didn't have the right size on hand. The LED strip is wired directly into the printer's main power source, casting a warm glow across the bed without any supports needed. To complete the look, I've opted for Paramount 100M matte black filament.
