Leatt Male 3/4" Buckle

Leatt Male 3/4" Buckle

I've spent an absurd amount of time perfecting this quick release buckle model, driven by some inexplicable urge to create a mate for the female ones on my Hydra 4.5. After extensive refinement, I'm pleased with the result - the male buckle closely resembles the OEM part and holds up remarkably well in ABS plastic (although I haven't tested it in PLA yet). There are a few extra parts from my project included, but they're still works in progress. These buckles will mate perfectly with those found on many Leatt gear pieces, thanks to their matching male and female keyholes. Printer Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Monoprice Maker Select 3D Printer Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .06 Infill: 100% Notes: The buckle should be printed flat on the bed. The cover, if used, should be printed upright with its pin cap perpendicular to the bed for maximum strength. Unfortunately, I still found it lacking in my application. Print the pivot guide flat, but you may need to adjust this part according to your expected pull direction. It could likely be redesigned for added strength.
