To replace the scissor part, we designed a new one using Sketchup. We tested it for a week on a boat and noticed an improvement compared to the previous version. The enhanced performance might be due to the use of apoxy that prevented any breakage. To install this replacement, follow these steps: 1) Heat the metal with a lighter and push the handle into place, 2) Remove the handle again, 3) Apply apoxy for secure bonding (since the original broke off), and 4) Melt pins to fix them in position using a soldering iron.
