Leatherman Bit Kit Adapter for the Free P4/P2
thingiverse
Allows you to use the Leatherman Bit Kit and or adapters with your free p4, and maybe your p2, I don't have one to test. All you have to do is slide it over your philips bit and insert your bit / extender. Because the holes on both sides look kind of similarly sized, and because the sides of the Phillips driver aren't perfectly parallel, I put an indicator on the adapter. Bit should be inserted on the side with the 1x1mm hole in the corder, and when installing onto the tool the 1x1 hole should be closer to the center axis of the tool, rather than the outer part of the tool (See Pictures of my Make). I chose to make a bit adapter that only takes the Leatherman Slim bits because I found PLA printed adapters that hold standard 1/4 hex bits strip out with very little torque. The slim bits would shatter the plastic before being able to round out a hole. As a result I am able to attach my ratchet driver, and drive wood screws through 2x4's using full-sized bits.
