I designed a brand new printing head for the Leapfrog printer. The original head was way too heavy and unstable, making it prone to breaking down. This innovative design boasts a quick change extruder mount that allows you to perform fast maintenance tasks with ease. Here are the key specifications: Cooling is provided by three 40mm*40mm fans: one for cooling the E3D extruder, and two for cooling PLA materials. The extruder used in this design is an E3D v6 1.75 mm bowden extruder. To test the printing head, you will need to print the following files: Grill.stl Body.stl (with or without extra support) Two CableHolder.stl E3dHolder.stl You can access the Fusion 360 source file at http://a360.co/2qSBx19.
