Leapfrog Creatr Y Axis Limit Switch Relocater
thingiverse
Initially, I encountered an issue with my new (used) Creatr printer where the stepper motors clashed at the maximum X and Y positions, specifically in the right rear. To rectify this problem, I adjusted the Y limit switch placement slightly backwards. As a result, there were no more collisions at the rear end, and I could now utilize the full printable area of 270mm x 230mm (actually 235mm due to modified firmware). To enhance printing quality, I utilized the high-quality profile with a .75 infill percentage. However, this may have been excessive as it was to prevent potential breakage caused by striking the endstop. Regarding the limit switch installation, ensure that all holes are reamed to 3mm, except for those securing the switch in place, which are tapped 3mm for screwing purposes. I employed 3mm x 14mm screws on each of the four points.
