I had an old LeapFrog creation with 8mm threaded rods. In the past, I would have been perfectly content. Now I know there's a lot to be done for good prints, especially the side movement of the printbed, which gives grooves on the sides of the object. I've tried cheap solutions, but this hasn't really worked out. So I disassembled the printer and used the frame for something else entirely. Now I'm very satisfied with the LeapFrog parts; it's become a beautiful table that also looks fantastic. I made corner pieces for glass support. Yes, now I am extremely happy with my leftover parts from the LeapFrog.
