I designed this spool holder specifically to enable printing without the Leapfrog Bolt printer's side cover in place. Initially, I discovered that the original spool holder couldn't retain the spool securely with the cover removed, which led me to create a new design featuring a rim to prevent the spool from sliding off.\r\n\r\nThis spool holder will still accommodate the OEM side cover. If you're interested in using 3" wide spools on your printer, consider my wide version instead.
