The original design was created before discovering that the Leap Motion Team had released a STL file for their official VR mount. This fortunate discovery sparked interest in 3D printing, ultimately leading to its development. Initially, the current version fits loosely on the DK1, but adjustments can be made by adding tape to the side flaps. However, due to obtaining a DK2 in the meantime, this project was eventually set aside.
