Leap Motion and LED stand
thingiverse
Leap motion sensor cradle with LED array facing user. This setup forms part of an immersive audio/video installation where a D/VJ utilizes the Leap sensor to control interactive art while engaging directly with an audience. The LEDs illuminate the user, concealing the electronics from view behind the organic shape of the cradle. The Leap motion sensor can be tilted to optimize its orientation towards the user, and a cable route is designed to pass through a slot on the left side. A hole in the base allows for additional cables powering and controlling the LEDs. This design adapts elements from a pre-existing model found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1535393.
