This design was created by a grade 9 student named Layne W., using Google Sketchup. The model was then converted to an STL file and repaired with the help of Netfabb's online tool. Using Replicator G, the STL file was turned into G-Code for printing on a Makerbot Replicator. Despite some potential errors reported, the print came out as expected (as seen in the image). The final product was made using ABS plastic, with 15% infill, 1 shell, and a layer height of .2mm. The extruder temperature was set at 225 degrees Celsius, while the bed was heated to 110 degrees Celsius for optimal adhesion during printing.
