Leaf Masquerade Mask
thingiverse
The leaf masquerade mask is one of my signature designs. The tulle that makes up the mask's framework allows it to hold its shape while also providing flexibility, giving it an ethereal appearance as if floating on your face or resembling a tattoo. You can either tape the design directly onto your skin or weave a ribbon through the leaf at each end of the mask. Using a skirt when printing this design is crucial in catching any stray threads that may ooze out during the process. To add the tulle, you'll need to pause the print after the first layer. I find it helpful to use the following script when slicing with Simplify 3D: {REPLACE "; layer 2," "G28 Y0 X0\nM0\n; layer 2,"}. For a detailed walkthrough of this project, please refer to my Instructable at https://www.instructables.com/id/Flexible-3D-Print-Masks/. If you're interested in purchasing this mask or other designs, I offer them through my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/MasterofNoneBoutique. This design was created using a combination of Silhouette Studio and Tinkercad software.
