Leaf ETC replacement options

If, like me, you bought a second hand Nassan Leaf sourced from Japan you may notice a weird device under the steering wheel that looks a lot like an old floppy disk drive. It's a card reader for an Electronic Toll Collection System (ETC) that operates in Japan. This is useless outside of Japan so it's recommended that you unplug it to avoid unnecessary phantom drain on the 12 V battery. So here's (a) a blank facia that covers the most common ETC, and (b) another blank facia that covers a slithly different ETC unit I've come across. Then - I went one step further and remove the unit completely (it weights 180 grams), which leaves an empty space, so here's (c) a 3D printable blank (15 grams) to fill the gap. Yes - this is a bit excessive.  Then (d) and (e) are brackets that screw in place of the ETC and allow you to move the OBD2 socket to a more user friendly location. Design (d) is for a LELink OBD2 dongle and (e) is for the much taller Konnwei 902 dongle. With these in place your LeafSpy dongle will be much more easily accessable and visable for you to see what it's doing. This is especially handly for the Konnwei unit because it allows you to see if it's turned on or off. Design (f) is a 50mm deep coin tray slot - it only holds a few coins so I don't recommend it.
