I recently encountered an issue with one of my 3-part couplers disengaging during printing due to minor stiction. To prevent this problem from causing a print failure, I designed and quickly assembled a custom coupler that eliminates the weak point. Although addressing the stiction by relubricating the linear rail in question is still the preferred solution, having this backup coupler on hand will save a print if necessary. This design fits standard 26mm tall, 20mm diameter aluminum and red 3-part couplers. For optimal results, it's recommended to print with PETG.
