To eliminate noise and squeaks from my Prusa i3's m5 threaded rods, I purchased brass nut/8mm lead screws and redesigned the X ends. The center hole measures 10.4mm, while mounting holes are 3mm, with a 2.8mm overlap hole for better screw grip as nuts cannot be added.
