I'm excited to share my project on hackaday.io with you! It's a weather-controlled SmartWindow that I've designed and developed. You can check it out here: https://hackaday.io/project/4789-weather-controlled-smartwindow This project is highly specialized, tailored specifically for my own needs, but I've decided to make it available to everyone. By default, the scaling of this design should match a 3/8" screw diameter perfectly. However, please keep in mind that print quality can vary, which may affect your tolerance levels. To mitigate stress on the printed part, I've included two hex-nut bracket holders - a thoughtful detail that ensures a smooth and stress-free printing experience. Instructions are easy to follow: simply print the design with a tolerance of less than 1mm. My own successful prototype was created using a Makerbot Replicator (1st generation) on medium quality via MakerWare. For best results, I recommend printing without supports - those pesky small cavities can be difficult to clear out if unnecessary internal supports are added unnecessarily.
