I downgraded my Anet A8 to 5mm rod, a move prompted by the stepper motor's disabling causing the Z-axis to misalign. The 5mm rod possesses self-locking properties. To utilize this OpenSCAD file, you'll need to incorporate the threads.scad library. Be cautious with this modification as it wears down too quickly, and the threads are too small for the material used in this printer.
