(https://www.youmagine.com/designs/lead-bender-tool). The mesmerizing 3D printers are productivity enhancers once the fascination of watching them in action subsides. A parametric lead bending tool created using OpenSCAD is presented, which works efficiently for personal use and comes with a wider version to bend entire strips adjustable to specific PCB widths. Further enhancements can be made by incorporating multiple width options (available on HipsterLogic: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6703) or adding a rim feature that enables component retention on the PCB without bending wires on the backside.
