This object has earned its keep as a paying one because it served as a reward for backers of a crowdfunding project to restore Georges Méliès' tomb, where you can find more information here: https://www.thegeorgesmeliesproject.org/index.php/home-uk. All profits from this object will be donated towards the restoration of his tomb. This model was created after a drawing of my great-great-grandfather Georges Méliès. The rocket in the eye of the moon is an iconic image from his work, featured prominently in the movie "A Trip to the Moon". Please handle with care when removing the supports from the teardrop; it's quite fragile. The model in the picture was printed a bit smaller than the provided STL file (feel free to resize at will!), using white ColorFabb PLA and 0.06mm layers.
