The elaborately depicted tent is inhabited by large, hunched creatures standing on their hind legs as if supporting the architecture... No dream, these are indeed lions! The basket of the tent is occupied all the way up by four large predators facing each other in pairs. These figures are primarily decorative: the lion heads, relatively small compared to their bodies, serve as volutes at the angles of the tent. The animals' tails transform into vegetation, wrap around their waists, and meet under their jaws. Several realistic details allow the lions to be identified: sharp claws, pointed teeth, and a finely engraved mane on the neck.
