Site encompasses a total area of 3.39 acres, which includes an adjacent meetinghouse site. Exterior finish consists of Blanco Guardiano white marble imported from Torreón, Mexico. Temple design showcases a classic modern style with a single spire. Facility features two ordinance rooms and two sealing rooms. The total floor area covers 10,700 square feet. Announcement made on April 14, 1999. Groundbreaking ceremony took place along with site dedication on May 29, 1999, performed by Carl B. Pratt. Public open house events occurred from June 26 through July 1, 2000. Dedication of the facility happened on July 9, 2000, led by Thomas S. Monson.
